What We do

Adam Eaton's passion for supporting The Dragonfly Foundation started when Eaton and a few college teammates visited a young amateur baseball player in the hospital after a line drive struck him in the head while pitching.  After undergoing surgery, the doctors found a brain tumor.  Eaton spent time building an enduring relationship with the family and continued to stay in contact through the years.  When the mother, together with a close friend, started The Dragonfly Foundation shortly thereafter, Eaton committed to supporting the cause.  Adam has devoted his time and resources to help a cause for which he is truly passionate!

THE DRAGONFLY FOUNDATION SUPPORTS PEDIATRIC CANCER FAMILIES AND PATIENTS BY...

  • Building a network that connects Dragonfly families to each other and the community

  • Providing programs that enhance quality of life

  • Enhancing programs in partner Children’s Hospitals

  • Partnering on future psychosocial research with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center

As a longtime car enthusiast, I love events like these that bring fellow car folks together, and I am psyched to combine that passion with the Nationals — bringing this event to our ballpark and our fans. I’m also honored to do it in a way that helps The Dragonfly Foundation, a charity that is close to my heart.
